Well I have only done about 500 - 600 miles thus far, mostly in Minnesota while on vacation in some 90 plus degree temps - unusually hot fall weather. I had no significant issues with heat while cruising around but in fairness, I never tried stop and go traffic. I am not one for idling around in rush hour on a bike. I ride to escape traffic and typically ride outside the city whenever possible.

The riding position is good for me at 6'02" and 260lbs. The handling is absolutely superb and the power is the best I have experienced riding a Harley. The clutch pull is light in comparison to my Ultra and the shifting is silky smooth. I had to remind myself it is a Harley. Lol. No regrets thus far. It is the most fun that I have had on motorcycle in a number of years.

Purchased pre-owned in July with 4K miles. Have added another 3K miles so far. Loving "ALMOST" everything about this bike. A few more upgrades planned then she will be completed to my likings.
Look forward to using this forum to connect with other PA riders for tips, tricks, feedback, and general conversation.

Congratulations on the new Pan America @Recon6975 and welcome to the forum! What kind of upgrades do you have planned?

Thank you!
I'm looking at the Saddlemen seat with the backrest and just ordered a taller 22" Madstad windscreen system (need to keep the bugs out of my face) to include the instrument screen riser and phone/gps mounting bar. Will probably get the Zumo XT GPS before too long as well. Other than that, I think I'm pretty well set. At least until new gadgets are released....🤣

I have put approximately 9k miles on my Pan America. My first Harley was a 2001 883, with a 1200 conversion. It was an absolute blast. My second Harley (I still have it, and ride it often) is a 2013 Steet Bob. I have 80k+ miles on it. I replaced the fork seals at 60k and the fuel pump at 70k. It's one of the most reliable machines I have ever owned. I ride it in the rain, snow, and ice (with street tires). I have ridden that bike across shallow river beds and it kept on going. This 2022 Pan America is the biggest piece of shit I have ever wasted my money on. It often dies when I pull the clutch in. The emblem on the tank fell off after a moderate rain (Why the hell would an adventure bike ever get wet). I have had to replace the front wheel ABS speed sensor, the oil pressure sensor, and the fuel pump in the first 6k miles. Now the engine is making loud grinding noises and I keeps dieing at stop lights (while idling). Don't buy this bike! This bike costs as much as a small sedan. If you are going to spend this on a bike, get something tried and true. I have several coworkers with Vstroms. They have been on rides with me and done just fine. I can get two of those for the price of this bike and they have no issues.

Thanks! Glad to be part of the community. My history includes a Buell X1 Lightening, FXRT and a couple of road glides. My other bike is a 2001 road glide CVO. I’ve only put 1000 miles on the PAS.
Thanks for noticing the Fisker! I wasn’t sure if anybody was going to catch that detail! LOL.

Hello all. Quick intro here... Had my PAS for just about year and a half but, only got about half of that on the road (military deployment). That's over so I'm riding more than ever. Just got the hard cases installed today so about to go ride and check out the balance on them. I'm working on doing motovlogs and tech/gear reviews on youtube with the Pan.
