Close to 8000 on my '22 PAS and all smiles.
HD needs to get their shit together and produce the parts needed to keep the PAS on the road though.
It's made a trip on the WYBDR this year. over 1000 miles off road without any issues outside of the ones I caused dropping the bike.
Many more local trips in the mountains of Wyoming, and Colorado. Fully capable and nimble bike for being one of the heaviest adventure bikes on the market.
I've had the same issues with my bike as with most every other happy owner on here. All manufactures have their issues. All we can do is work through them.
I have noticed that the majority of unhappy owners on here are overseas. Definitely the loudest.
I met Danger Dan at Sturgis this year and he had his '21 PAS. You guys should see his bike! He has beaten the shit out of it and he absolutely loves it. 10's of 1000's of miles on it.
Go look up some of his videos on YouTube. That guy is insane.
No buyers remorse here 😁

I enjoy reading some of the posts on the forum. There are some really informative posts, others that are entertaining, and a good number that are quite negative in content. I get it - a person's experience becomes their perception or reality. And I am not shocked because many forum contributors seem to be the disappointed or disillusioned rather than the happy or satisfied customers of various products.

So, I am interested in hearing from those who have some positive news stories to share. What do you love about your Pan America? What good experiences have you had?
It's been 17500 miles on my PanAm S, trouble free.
Very reliable, fast and fun.
Couple of warranty items including the clutch assembly, left handlebar switch assy., and a fuel pump replacement.
Other than that, the parts waiting was a bit long, about a month.
When I've picked my bike at the dealer, they scratch the front fairing, front fender and my new Akrapovic slip-on.
All items already ordered by the manager, but still waiting for a little over a month to get all together to replace'em at the dealer.
I did 2x 5200 mile trips riding through the worse weather conditions and no issues.
In my opinion, very reliable bike.
Love it.

21 PAS with @23000 miles. Original battery. Always on tender when in the garage.

Had several issues:
Adaptive Ride Height codes
Had blank screen issue
Had screeching fuel pump
Had persnickety starter button issues
Had user configured display settings disappear
Had molex connector wiring incorrect

December of last year, I brought it in for service and said I didn't want it back until all issues were resolved.

Got it back Feb of this year. It was like getting a brand new bike back!!
They performed software updates
They replaced the fuel pump
They replaced the right front fork - took care of all the ARH code issues
They replaced the starter clutch gear - took care of the persnickety starter issues, including the whine
They corrected the mis-wired molex connector

Had put on thousands of miles since Feb and no error codes or any other issues reared their head.

Having a dealership with a competent mechanic working on your bike is everything (y)

Great report!

Happy '22 PAN owner here, 12K miles so far. Longest trip was 5600 mile/14 day trip thru Canada to Alaska, no issues and encountered diverse conditions of course. Ridden many miles forest roads Idaho/Montana and So. Nevada in winter. LOVE the bike. Warranty issues been handled quickly by shops, only experienced the radiator hose early on then fuel pump recently. Only dislike is on real hot days and extreme engine heat - comfortable highway pegs a must.

hi guys, what can I say, I enjoy riding the motorbike, after the software updates no problems....but as soon as the warranty expired, here we are facing the design problems....I solved it with some metal clamps and a block built by me with m 6 threads....I hope I don't have any more surprises!!

5,000+ miles in and I absolutely love my ‘22 PA Special. I think the real perspective changer for me was last week, when I flew to Utah and rented a bike for a week long trip, and the whole time, all I could think about was how much I missed my Pan America. Every time I had to make a pass (UGH!!), there’s no comparison. I was on a Street Glide Touring Edition, and it was fine, no big complaints. But for me, after just a day on that bike, after the last year plus on my bike, I KNEW that I bought the right machine. The nimbleness, the power, the fit, the features, I love it.

And I’ve been fortunate to not have had almost any problems. The battery died once, during a week when I didn’t have it on a charger, but that was it. No issues other than that.

I can relate. The PA hauls and it makes a bad rider better because it just so very capable in terms of handling etc. But looking at the miles you're all putting on, I need to up my game. Lol

Well, a 3,000 mile, 1-week trip this summer to South Dakota from WA was a big part of that. LOL.
And the bike performed flawlessly. Cruising through most of Montana at 95mph on the cruise control was smooth as butter.

8k + and no major issues, I have a really good relationship with my local service manager and mechanic as well as the dealer. Also I did get the extended warranty, service plan and tire and wheel (that has paid for itself already)
Edit.....
I can tell you that I was waiting for this bike since 2018. I love my Harleys and also love dirt riding and camping off the bikes, my roadglide went on a 20 mile fire road the first day I had it, with Momma on the back!:cool:
This bike is much more capable of doing the kind of riding I want to do.
I am the " where's that road go?" guy!
And it dosent matter if I am on my PanAm or my slammed Wide Glide!
The PanAm is just way more practical!
i'm a where's the road go guy to my new2023 lets me find out 0 problems in the first 9000 mile
