What's the consensus on exhaust brands?

When I ordered this exhaust, I ordered the mid pipe that eliminates the exhaust box just after the CAT. Little did I know that HD changed the diameter of exit hole on the CAT due to the redesign of the header after so many heat shield failures on the 2021 stock exhaust. Luckily, I was able to send the link pipe back and was hoping that Akrapovic would offer a mid pipe that would fit the redesigned header.

I went with the Screaming Eagle. It changed the feel of the bike completely. I found the stock was a bit "tinny" but the Screaming Eagle just felt more solid and it pops and crackles just enough when decelerating. I'm running it still with the full baffle so it's almost the same loudness but I think I'm going to try it without the baffle.

I agree, with the baffle its only slightly louder than stock but sounds waaay better. Remove the baffle and its rowdy-er with more volume without being obnoxious. I looked into the V+H but it was too loud for me. TBR was a nice compromise but I hate its looks.

Not to downplay the V&H's, but my dealer pointed out the same thing. But he also noted that the power improvement is at the 9k RPM band.. I dont know if i'm running that hard, ever. ymmv

Hello everyone! In waiting for delivery of my '22 PanAm, I'm shopping around for exhausts. One that I stumbled across was Zard (or here for the folks across the pond). I have not seen or heard of these exhausts...ever. Does anyone know about Zard or other brands that have a fine quality build to them?
