Little hint:
when I go sighting or leave the bike,
I use the tab under the seat.
Therefore I carry a chain with the bike to fix my helmets on the PAS .
so they are safe.

I have a 80cm long chain. The longer the better because you can shorten it to the desired length.

What on the helmet are you connecting to? Obviously not the chin strap, which can easily be unbuckled.
