If you are on the balls of your feet on the pegs, can you weight your heels all the way down while standing without hitting the muffler guard?
Yes I can with out issue. But if I ride on the balls of my feet while sitting down sometimes it touches. I don't feel it however I can see where my shoes have rubbed the cover.

Hey All,
Picked up a Yoshimura for my 24 Pan Am. Other than the exhaust everything is stock. Have about 55 miles on it so far and looks and sounds great! One thing I did notice is that when in neutral, if I rev it, the responsiveness isn’t great. Seems like it starts bogging at around 2000 rpms. I don’t remember the stock exhaust doing this. However, if I’m stopped and have it in gear with the clutch in, there doesn’t seem to be any issue and the rev responsiveness is snappy and no bogging. Anybody else have a similar issue?

That's a rev limiter to protect the engine when it has no load on it
