I am also a happy PSA owner, have three, a 21 and two 22’s. Kept in diff parts of the country. I travel a lot. No major issues with any, one bike throws a bunch of codes on occasion but once cleared no problems. One bike was shipped to CO and was not plugged in promptly by the receiving dealer so the battery died (was in transport mode). Had to be reflashed 3 times to get everything back to normal.

Bought my used 2021 PAS in November 2022 with 4k miles on it. Not sure why previous owner traded back to dealership. Easily $5k in options and after market put into it. Had a few glitches but nothing I couldn't figure out or was just operator error. Did replace stock battery with lithium. Bike is just as fast and nimble as my previous Triumph Sprint GT 1050 and more comfortable than my (now) classic 2004 BMW R1200 CLC. Still have not had a real off road ride with it yet, but the little off pavement I have done has been a positive experience.

Is that a Super Trapp pipe?

I enjoy reading some of the posts on the forum. There are some really informative posts, others that are entertaining, and a good number that are quite negative in content. I get it - a person's experience becomes their perception or reality. And I am not shocked because many forum contributors seem to be the disappointed or disillusioned rather than the happy or satisfied customers of various products.

So, I am interested in hearing from those who have some positive news stories to share. What do you love about your Pan America? What good experiences have you had?
After only 100 miles (but I've been riding since 1977) here are my likes so far:

1. Overall feel and ride
2. Looks - the lines (from the side) of the tank and frame remind me of the UJM's from the 70's and 80's. And, yes, I certainly see the irony in complimenting a Harley by comparing it to Japanese bikes!
3. Easier to get on the centerstand than my last ride - a '21 BMW R1250GS (which, for the record, was also a good bike).
4. Availability of a print Service Manual (again, BMW does not have one in print, although someone was able to find a .pdf one).
5. Depending on my experiences on our annual ride to the Tail of the Dragon, I may not need to make my usual invesments in after market seats and windshields. The stock versions may actually work for me. I'll know for sure in August.

1yr anniversary- 4000 miles on my ‘22 Pas, most of that was two big trips were I really got to know the bike.
Issues: blank screen 2x before software update.

By far the best riding motorcycle I have owned. 30yrs riding, owned 8 street bikes. I never get sick of riding even on long days. Already used it more than the last two bikes combined. Not as beautiful as my FTR1200RR, but twice as nice to ride.

I think I've already commented on this thread and I know I have before somewhere else but gotta throw some more love at my PA!

I rode ~80 smiles a month or so ago and it was on tender prior to that. Since then NO tender with an occasional start til Friday (4-19) when I went to the Adv Ride in Lawrence County Indiana, very great weekend....

It has done everything I've axed of it (probably wants more) :D and I'd have no questions or concerns loading up and going wherever for however long!

So I just had to say, I'm lovin IT! ✌

Just bought my new 2022 this past weekend from the dealer. I have about 300 miles on it. I gotta say that I am way beyond impressed thus far. I have 8 other motorcycles, and not one is (or has ever been) a Harley. So I am not a fan boy. I rapidly am becoming one now. Just an amazing bike. Some small things here and there but overall, I am thoroughly gob-smacked at how good this motorcycle is. Not much seat time, but I have a nice trip planned in a month up to the Smokies and really hope to find out all about this bike. Couldn't be happier right now.

Congrats on the PamAm. I also got a 22 PanAm and after a year traded in my other bike (2020 HD Low Rider S) for a 24 CVO PanAm as I was having so much fun with the 22. So now I have 2 PanAm’s. Guess that definitely makes me a fanboy 🤓

My riding crew look at me crazy when they asked about how I am liking my PA. All Harley riders, but I'm the only one who has made a change to the PA. I told them I thought it is the best bike I have ever had, and I think I am going to get another one. :giggle:. I originally intended to make it a street only bike, and bias the mods toward street performance and style. But after taking it off-road a bit, I feel torn to compromise off-road factors. So, get one spoked rim that is biased toward off-road riding; and the other with solid rims biased toward street. Problem solved.
