Anyone gotten a Mean City Cycles, MCC Home of the best motorcycle seat modifications. seat modification for their Dirt Glide?

I have a reservation for June 28th for the Iron Butt modification to the riders seat only. Got a 6400 mile round trip coming in September and want my old ass to be comfy. Since I first bought the bike I have been riding an aftermarket 1" lowered seat with gel insert that is much softer than the OEM seat plank, but looking for more.
I'll post some info once I get the seat back for the curious.

I’ve been thinking of either getting a Sundowner seat and recovering it (already bought the passenger pillion), modding the stock seat myself, or having those guys mod it. I’ve done a number of seats myself, and have even built some from the ground up, but feel the seat for the PAS really needs to be “designed” for long distance comfort, usability on street/dirt, and proper support. I would like to see if Mean City Cycles would be interested in trying to modify the stock passenger pillion to make it have more width than any of the current aftermarket options. I feel there is so much usable real estate back there that isn’t being utilized enough.

So, got the iron butt seat back and I am liking it over the Pazoma gel seat. I don't weigh much, about 155lbs. Most seats are planks to my ass, yet I feel the cushion of the seat with no difference in styling than the OG seat. The one thing that I did notice. The large pads on the top of the seat are now more pronounced so I get stuck in certain seating positions based off those protruding pads. I'll toss on the ole Aerostitch sheepskin seat pads and see if that helps. I should have went for a recover at the time of the modification. I might send it back in the future and have the passenger seat modded and recovered along with a recover with the OG rider seat.

I tried the wunderlich seat, but it didn‘t fit to me.
Than I saw Mike‘s motorbike channel in youtube. Thanks for his infos.
I got remodelled my original seat by „Ledermanufaktur Abramowsk“ in Calw (Germany). Je did a really good job on it.
Now, 1500 km later, i can tell you, that it was a very good idea. And much cheaper than any other new seat.

So when the seat squishes down when sitting on it, I can feel the surface pattern on the seat. The seat is much flatter now and the corners of the pattern are even a bit raised now. Seat cushioning rocks, I'll just throw my sheepskin cover on it.

They were very precise in their delivery. the seat is great and was one of the best mods I have made to the bike. I highly recommend going for the iron butt seat mod if you are not vertically challenged.

for sure Mean City Cycles , they are awesome . all that's needed for the pan am is the double decker mod...doing all my motorcycle seats with them...
