Anybody else done this and a happy with their decision? I have the upgraded charging system in my bike now. I’m just more curious if anybody’s notice any performance difference in the engine or in transmission shifting easier. Mine has a hard shift from 1st to 2nd sometimes if not on gas hard. I like the idea of the new wiring harness throughout the bike. Thank you for any input.

I have a 22 PAS and also purchased a 24 CVO PAS (keeping both as I keep one in VA where i work and one home in NJ). I ‘m still very happy with the 22 PAS and I agree that the 24 does seem a bit “tighter” than my 22. However, the engine and suspension is really no difference. I did not have issues with the 22 PAS regarding electrical issues (starting), so i really don’t see the 24 improving on that. I do notice the ARH seems 100% reliable on the 24 PAS while the 22 PAS ARH once in awhile does not seem to lower. 24 PAS does have improvements over the 24 PAS as it has a better battery, radiator hose is sorted, improved stator, more rigid wind screen, ….

Youll likely take a near term hit on the financials, but in longer term the 24 PAS will be better. If you can swing it and get a decent deal, I’d go for the 24 PAS
