I need help guys the stabilizer doesn't do anything and I want a aftermarket one any advice
I have had better ones before like my gpr, Scott's. I like to be stiff on the road then can loosen the knob when off road. Mud tires give a floating feeling on the hwy. Not my favorite feeling. The cool thing about a stabilizer is that it really isn't meant to do a whole lot while stationary and/or at low speed. It's job is to stabilize steering input at high speed due to human error to avoid loss of control. If it was too stiff at low speed you would have difficulty turning, essentially meaning it's doing it's job if you think it's not working (Does that make sense?).
Keep the stock one! It's Ohlins, and in my opinion functions excellently, save the money for consumables!
I hear you, sounds like you have more experience with them than I do. If you find one for the PanAm please let me know, I’d be interested in seeing the differences.I have had better ones before like my gpr, Scott's.
