I run mine almost exclusively undressed. Even when commuting or day-tripping, I only add the top box. I had (and sold) the panniers then bought the hard sport bags. That way I have the storage if I really NEED it for moto camping or weekend trips with a passenger. But most of the time, I don't. This became apparent to me when I realized that I was either riding around with empty bags or there were things in the bags that I didn't remember was in them. I like the sport cases because they come off clean, (no racks or mounts left behind).

Same here. I run mine mostly naked but I got the tank bag to carry my small junk. I like the hard case mounts because they also serve as crash bars if I ever go down. Did you take off the windshield? It looks pretty cool without it. Just enough of a fly screen to tuck behind...

Thanks! That's a Wunderlich "Flowjet"..

It works nice, it's designed to "clean up" the air. Reduces turbulence. Or so I'm told.. Lol. It does look kewl though.

I usually just roll with the top box unless I am going offroad or otherwise need the capacity. Without the side cases or bags, it’s a lot more difficult to get the bike upright if you have a whoopsie on the trail — been there, not doing that again.

I know that the top box-only look is geeky, but it’s incredibly useful.

I agree with the side cases being handy for up righting a downed bike. The plastic grab handles are a joke and if you ever dump a bike with the sport cases, well good luck.
I installed a Touratech upper rack frame and it has already paid for itself
Is that the rear rack with the grab handles and the rear rack for top box? If so I'd love to compare notes bc on the 24, I had to do a custom bolt. in the back.
