Hello from Parkersburg West Virginia.

Bought my 2023 R1250S, Gauntlet Gray, on Friday.
Working to get through the break-in process soon.
Been riding a long time, but this is my first Harley, first ADV bike.
Loving it!
I've been riding Yamaha's: FJR1300, MT09, street-legal WR450.

Pressurized water at the gas station and...
ready for the next one.

It consists of two bags, the outer one has demonstrated its drag resistance on several occasions, in fact, whenever I leave the asphalt I mount them as an airbag, even if they only carry some tools, water, clothes, food... The inner bag provides watertightness.

Very, very satisfied with them. :)

I'm sorry, I meant the Aeedea crash bars. These pictures seem to just have the stock crash bars unless I'm blind (also a real possibility)

I´m sorry, Gentimmy, he replied to Rocket.

After several falls at low speed and on more or less even surfaces, the areas that receive the impact are those marked in red, especially the upper one. The motorcycle tilts over that point. When, due to my low altitude, I lose control, I do not hesitate to drop the motorcycle.

Hello from, lovely, friendly Oakland, CA! I just closed on a used 2023 PAS from Oakland Harley-Davidson. I read up on these bikes and the dealer seemed knowledgable on them, moving a lot and even having a few in the shop, which seemed like a good sign. They even threw in those pre-scuffed sport cases for me! Question: what are those aluminum rails for? I don't see how you can strap anything to the cases with only one rail on each.

My current bikes are a CB500X Rally Raid Stage 3 and a Concours 14. The PAS should be able to replace them both. My main use cases are commutes, two-up overnight trips, dirt roads, and 500+mi of freeway (and back) to the adventure rally in Julian, CA. The Nor Cal BDR may also be in the works. I don't do enduro stuff except as a lark at the SVRAs on occasion.

My first upgrades will be an Antigravity Re-start lithium-ion battery, as I already have them in my other bikes and they are excellent. Also will add the Puig reinforcement for that Puig windscreen that came with the bike. The Vance and Hines exhaust also came with it and it is sick.

Greetings fellow Pan America owners. I took ownership of a 2022 Pan America Special back in August. This is the first bike I have owned in 20+years since "retiring" from motorcycling. Now that my kids are older and my wife and I are about to be empty nesters, my need to be out on the road with 2 wheels, was too strong to ignore. Motorcycle therapy is great for my mental health also. This forum is outstanding and has already been a great resource for parts, service, and ride ideas. My plan is to ride from Southern California to Montana in the Spring of 25.

Hi Cantrell,

Congrats on the bike.

I also had a long time away, 25 years between when I sold my bike until the third child went off to college and I got back into riding. Been back 11 years now.

Please consider taking an MSF course to help knock off the rust. I did that and then decided to become a coach.
