Hi,
Does someone know how to DIY a battery cable with on one side o-rings or eyelets to connect to the battery posts and on the other side an EC5 connector?
The eyelets on the battery side, I have covered they can be crimped to the cable. I found some heavy duty ones for car use and they are great.
The EC5 connector however, I'm not sure. I see a lot of vids on YT for RC stuff and they lightly solder them. Is there a way for more sturdy connection, like crimping?
I would use the cable to connect to the battery and have an EC5 under the seat. This way I can connect my Hex ezcan there and whenever in need, I disconnect the ezcan and connect a jumpstarter to the EC5.
I find cables like that online from BAAS and Paasburg, but they all are just 30 to 40 centimeters. (Aliexpress and stuff are no option)
In case of comments that are well meant; yes I saw the tutorial here to have battery posts under the pillion seat. I want to go the EC5 way however.
Thanks, Merry Christmas
