Unfortunately, many like me still have the my2021 but with the original freewheel and not with the upgrade from the manufacturer, and they know how important it is to keep the battery healthy and charged...
Unfortunately, a couple of weekends ago I was at a rally with -8 degrees Celsius and in the morning the bike was covered in a finger of ice!
Obviously it didn't even want to turn and so I'll leave you the procedure here on how to start it even without a booster!
The real problem with this engine is its compression at 13.1 and that's what really causes problems when starting for the first time!
  • First, completely remove the two external spark plugs and turn the engine over for a few seconds (3-5 sec. max)
  • Then set the spark plugs with 3-5 turns of thread, reconnect the plug and start the bike!
  • leave it at idle for 2-3 minutes to warm up the engine and oil, then turn it off, screw the spark plugs back in as usual and you can set off with peace of mind...

Good luck

Jesus Christ, what a ....
Yeah, do that. (NOT)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't understand, why not just have a booster? I feel like removing the spark plugs that require proper torquing is a really bad idea. Just buy a NOCO booster pack like each of us here?

Sorry you're still dealing with this, but with all due respect I would be back at the dealer having them repair the issue right away.

On my 21, I ran a heavy tender cable from the battery to the right side of the handle bar. Made a pig tail to go from my booster to the tender. Then just jump started.
Much less possibility of damaging a plug wire or breaking a plug. I tend to drop them.

Sounds scary Harry, I mean Good Luck M. You forgot to add turn around (clockwise ) three time, spit twice and utter your favorite curse word. Works for me every time. Good Luck
