Ok started feeling the need to stretch out my legs after about an hour on the freeway. Looking for input on hwy pegs. I seen older posts regarding the ADVENTURE BIKE PEGS that look to be rock solid and tuck away real nice. Just concerned about them rotating on the engine guard - that is a lot of pressure with heavy biker boots.

Then there is the AeeDee jobs that mount to two bars on the engine guard, rotating issued solved, and they look to be real adjustable. BUT they don't seem to fold way when not in use AND are they made well?

Any input is greatly apricated. It makes it tough to make these calls when you can't go to a shop and check out your options and heaven forbid try it on your motorcycle.

Well Senor MilkeInPa watching your channel was a big influence in me scoring my PA in the first place. So this is a great endorsement for the Adventure Bike Pegs. Also I am seeing that the AeeDee pegs have not been available lately. Plus I love American made stuff. Thanks for the response.

I will order a set directly.

I've got them and only two issues I have, ok three... they only fit on (can't remember which side) one part of engine guard, mine is engraved with GS (bmw), and made in ohio!.

Seriously, I have no issues with my adv bike pegs, yeah tad limited in mounting as they do only fit one bar and you don't see the GS unless you looking right at it... i actually dropped bike with it extended and of course moved peg around, but was able to reposition and alls good!

He now makes them in two sizes. The original BMW sized ones will fit on the larger tube of the engine guard that is closer to you, and he now makes one that will fit on the smaller tube that is closer to the front wheel if you want to really stretch your legs out.

Thanks for the response. I see that Adv Pegs recommends the 21 mm collar for the front bar and 25 mm for the rear and yea I guess there are made for the GS, not an issue for me. I did come across another company called ALT Rider that makes similar type pegs and one in black and real adjustable. I may check them out also

Not to beat this to death. BUT, other then the side stand, the only other issue I have with my PA is the small foot pegs, shifter, and rear break lever. Everything else is Rock n Roll. I mean we are men with boots on monster, rugged machines. what's with these dainty lil Pegs and levers.

So I will prob score those Alt Rider foot pegs also.

OK guys I went with the AltRider Hwy Pegs. Very happy - solid product. They are delivered in a bitchen box with the cell ph deal to get clear video instructions. They have 24 adjustment positions to be mounted in for your foot and leg comfort. And they fold up real nice and click into position and stay.

They will run you about $190 delivered for the black anodized, but well worth the cost. I am so happy with these pegs I also scored the AltRider GPS mount.
