2022, PAS with 12,900 miles, bought new. I have been riding for more than 50 years, and this is the absolute best standard bike I have ever ridden. I don’t use it as an adventure bike, but my guess is it would be an outstanding adventure bike based on its lightness, horsepower and suspension. This bike will not make you an adventure rider, only experience and training can do that. This bike has had its teething problems. What is outstanding is my dealers (Burt’s Barracuda. St. Pete., FL) and the manufactures response to those teething problems. Under warranty they have replaced the fuel pump and stator, in a no hassle and timely manner. My stalling, fuel pump noises and voltage problems went away. Those teething problems have not diminished the overall level of joy I’ve gotten from riding this machine. I could have bought a bland (by PAS standards) and trouble-free bike, but the compromised riding experience would not have been equal to the PAS. Have fun, but stay safe.

"Compromised riding experience" is not how I would describe the competition. The Pan Am has the worst resale value and worst sales (from 2022 to current) of any big ADV bike in recent times. This market has spoken and has identified the Pan Am as the inferior bike of it's class. 12,900 miles is less than 2 weeks riding for some IBA riders and you've already suffered multiple issues in that time frame. I'll happily take "bland" if it means I get to make it home.

I agree with OP I've had more bikes than most have ever seen up close in person and dreamed of having from mini bikes with Briggs and straton 3hp motors in the early 70's to v8 chevy motors and in February of 2024 I got this 2021 PAS and yes I had dirt bikes of every make and cruisers of every make and a few (8) sport bikes and around 40 or so Harley-Davidson bikes from knuckles to this revmax and in my honest opinion there are bikes that are made to do certain specific things and bike that try to do multiple things and I road 4 different sport touring adventure bikes before deciding on the PAS I like the uncertainty of things and I also like pulling away from cocky nah-sayers when they think they got life figured out and hopefully it has helped a few make life changing decisions 😀 but none of the bikes I've had or test rode can make (ME) smile like this top heavy kinda ugly Pan America Special has , if it breaks fix it if you can't take it to someone who can, but just get what makes you feel good and quit ditching others decisions 🤣 and to the haters if ya don't like my opinion well then BYE FELICIA AND TAKE KAREN WITH YOU 🤪
