Anyone installed the Protaper Evo bars on their Pan Am?

There is not a huge amount of info on these bars. But the Pro AM version (P8052-BLK) of these bars are in fact 1.25" at the bar clamps.

I installed a set this evening. Curious to see if anyone ele has tried them.

I have not ridden with these bars yet. I suspect it may take some trial and error to get the bar positioning optimized.

So what are your impressions? What do you think the biggest difference is over stock?

I have shattered my wrist and fused 3rd and 4th Metalocalypse bones, they are alot more comfortable than stock. Not so much of an angle, got a few thousand miles on the bars

Been looking at this streamline conversion:

It comes with a set of "LSL" bars.. Specifically, the LSL X02 KBA 70269. I think they are really close to the pro-taper that you guys are playing with.

Heres a very good picture comparison.

Not a significant change on the actual height but the angle is way better than the oem. I had a sugery in my right wrist also so the oem angle bothered me a lot.

I also currently running with pazoma risers.

So if any of you guys are wondering how the cables and master cylinder cable go,

Well, all cable are fine except i had to unbolt the safety cable guide below the ohlins stabilizer to get a tad of slack.

My barkbuster handguard also was compromised due to hb angle change. I had to do some customization to properly install it.

Ill post a actual picture after I install everything together. Took me less than an hour to replace it.

Thanks for this! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear and soon to feel.. The angle of the stock bars put my elbows in just right spot to make my pinky and ring finger go numb and my whole had to tingle.

Now, I just need my dang bike back from the 10k so that K can install them…

contacted the friendly (not) protaper support for a distributor in EU. They only give one standard reply, to use the dealer locator, works only for the US apparently. Contacted a quadzillian dealers here in EU, none carries it...
