[Original opening post]

Hi!
I am not thrilled with any of the PA t-shirts I have seen. So I am trying my hand at designing one.
Your suggestions would be appreciated.
Once we have a final design, my plan is to post it to Canva, CafePress, or a similar service, so that members can print their own shirts on demand (no compensation to me).
What do you think of this one? Fire away!

I like it!

I don't have the Green "Enthusiast edition" PAS with the big star on the tank, but I would buy an OD green shirt with a white flag on the right shoulder and a white sketch graphic of the PA on the back.

I would also pay money for a black shirt with with the sketched bike... I have the one below but the shirt is poor quality and doesn't fit well.

I am familiar with that sketch. I'll see if I can find it in a format that is sharp and easy to duplicate.

Would definitely take a 3xl black with Dirt-Glide under Pan America logo also

@Tobba611 and @cabecadeferro, I have replaced the silhouette with a software-generated sketch. There are dozens of variations we could do. Software-generated sketches are tame compared to what you are showing. Please post what you'd like to offer in terms of sketches and I'll incorporate them and post.

'No reason we have to only have ONE shirt design. Variety is a good thing.

Too much text on that example for my taste. I would stick with one phrase + sketch. Dirt glide, Anywhere, Any road, 150HP revolution, etc.
We will have multiple shirts available. At least one will be simple with clean lines (my personal preference too).

I don't know stuff but something tells me not to put the Bar and Shield on something you intend to sell. No one can say anything about you selling shirts with pics of YOUR bike on them or the words "Harley Davidson" (I know a girl named Harley Davidson). But I know that Bar and Shield is a registered trade mark..

But like I said, I don't know stuff. Do some homework on the "TM" stuff. Maybe they can be sold on this Forum?

No trademark or logo may be used on any type of product without the authorization of HD. HDMOCO has already sued and won many lawsuits on this subject. Anyone can use it to promote the brand but not to make a profit. I work with HD (independent shop) and a few years ago company lawyers came to my store with the intention of suing me, but my company does not use any type of HD logo, so nothing happened.

So what constitutes what can be on a shirt? Am I right in my assumption that only the "bar and Shield" should be omitted? Is everything else on the graphics above ok?

For every man that doesn't know stuff there is one that does know stuff. (y)

Thanks man!

Yeah, good point. And it does not matter that we are a volunteer organization where profit is no one's motive. They want to control the brand. I get it. Thank you for pointing that out. I just revised. See above with black background (for a black shirt) sans the H-D logo.
