Any tips-n-tricks would be very welcome. I found the instructions wanting. o_O Maybe we could develop a MT700 Pan America User's Manual? I'm trying to take notes as I use the device. :geek:
Absolutely agree my friend, I'm interested in knowing how you got the little wrench out ? I had a terrible night last night with the storms that repeatedly came within just a couple miles of our home , just got the software updates and registration done and would like any tips on that lol , will be going out to see what happens in a couple hours , I'm on board with you to make notes and share with others who get the MT700 🥳

Sounds good, I'll repeat the steps that I took to get the wrench to disappear and post them. Hopefully, that will be today.
If you would like to start a Post on the MT700 tips and tricks I will comment on it and try to help with what I find out also 😀 I may also after I figure certain things out make short YouTube videos on it and post a link to it on the Post as well 👍

Haven't been able to play around with it yet , I just got back from a stroll around the block for 24 hours or so helping others from the unfortunate circumstances, and I will try to play around with it some and confirm what and what not it allows me to do on my 2021 PAS, Hopefully atleast figure out Brake Bleed and Flush Date Reset 🤷🏻‍♂️ I WILL KEEP EVERY ONE INFORMED on my progress with step by step descriptions and possibly a link to a video on YouTube of me actually doing it in person live in the next couple days lol 😆

I'm letting you guys "beta test" but I would highly recommend putting the bike on a trickle charger while poking around in it's brain. Going dead whilst sending reset signals (write process) could be... disappointing.

Yes sir absolutely 💯
It has a Tune mode, where all it does is supply 14.4v steady while ya poke around with the electrical stuff 😉

Gonna mess around with it some after work today, and been busy with helping out our friends and family with their woes, and haven't been able to poke around on the forum much and look for the procedure you used 🙃 so IF you have posted the procedure yet I can't find it , or if you haven't I guess I will see what I can find out poking around 👍

That Optimate looks very nice. I am using the H-D multi-port charger over the past year. I mounted it on the wall and the extension cords can reach all the way across the shop. Having the multiple ports has been a real advantage as well.

Apologies DOCIHMC. I was busy preparing my Buell 1125R for shipment to my son in Montana and mounting my muffler guard on the Pan America. I should be able to tackle the task this afternoon. :)
No apologies needed my friend I completely understand that 💯 gotta take care of friends and family first 🙏 we got hammered with super cell storms and a brother's vehicles were both broke down and being a mechanic with a pickup and tools made me a very popular guy the last 2 days 😂

Looking forward to your post my friend 🤪

That looks nice 👀 will have to check it out, I have a YTX12-24L ANTIGRAVITY 720CA lithium battery in my 2021 Pan America Special and a wicked start 600ca agm in my 2009 Tri-Glide and different chargers for each and have been thinking about trying to get one like yours that can do both style batteries and have extra ports for the Ole lawnmower and chopper which have Ole lead acids in them 😀

Soooo , it's 1am 5-22-2025 here in south central ky and I have had about all I can stand of not seeing my bike so I walked into my garage fired up the Ole girl and plugged into it with this scanner, took a few minutes to get familiar with it and decided to only try the ABS BLEED function, and to select through the whole thing, it activated and could hear and feel things happening in the levers, next I went through the menu a few different ways and found ABS BLEED Date which was today because it is today that I'm messing with it , didn't try to set it because my lights not on yet and I'm still half asleep from the craziest 6 days in a row I've had in a while, but yes it definitely let's me right there poking around and I will explore more with it over the next few days 👍

@DOCIHMC , does this scanner marry itself to your bike or can it be used on multiple different bikes?
Current price is $900, but if I could offer to let other local Pan America riders rent if for $50 a pop, I could perhaps better justify the price.
It covers about all makes and models from about 2009 forward, from the little bit of time I have had to mess with it it's gonna be a good tool to have in the garage, it didn't Marry itself to my bike like a power vision or similar device would my friend 😀 I am going to plug in to my 2009 Tri-Glide and my Brother's 2019 Road glide this weekend and poke around on them as well and see what I can do 😁
