I know, I know it seems trivial but I am bugged by the way the Harley stock aluminum bags are unevenly placed. It just looks odd. The right bag sits farther away from the bike than the left one. I understand this is because the muffler sits in between the bag and the bike. Other makes ( BMW GS for example ) put a concave into the bag to allow for the muffler. Understanding it would require purchasing a new bag and mount to achieve this ( costly!!) has anyone come up with a way to do this?

Both are the same size and right side sticks out further than it needs too , I thought about cutting and welding on the brackets to tuck Both sides in tighter to the bike

Touratech is a little better...there's a cutout, but still a slight offset. Part of the reason I went with the Sport cases was for the symmetry & also no need for additional mounting brackets for the side cases.

The Touratechs are nice, but not svelte in the least. 45L on the left and 40L on the right. The contouring on the right side helps, but they are, in my opinion, a bit ponderous.
