Hi everyone! I'm Allen from Plano, Texas (suburb of Dallas). I've had my 2022 Pan America Special for about a month now and I've already put about 1500 miles on it. I absolutely love it. I've had a lot of different motorcycles...Honda, BMW, Harleys... currently I have a 2008 Harley Davidson Softail Crossbones, 2022 HD Road Glide ST, and now the Pan America.

The bike came with some nice equipment already installed: Touratech panniers, Screaming Eagle exhaust, Camel ADV skid plate, Ruby off road lights were the big ones. I've added a Piug windscreen, Pivot Pegz, and other smaller upgrades for comfort. I'm planning on upgrading the handguards, risers, and perhaps adding a top case. Looking forward to checking out the forum!

Great bike @motoalanzo welcome to the forum! How does the Pan America compare to the other bikes you've owned?

I think compared to the Harleys with the M8 or Twin Cam engines, it's a revver! So it feels totally different than those bikes. And the stock suspension is so good compared to my other Harleys too. It's very comfortable and I really like how I can tour with it, ride in the rain or bad weather, go off road, run errands, it can just do everything. I'm really digging it!

Nice bike and I like your mods.
I do regret buying the HD saddle bags. I wish I had gotten bags like yours. The HD bags are always 1 drop away from snapping off of the bike

Um no they're not or I'd only have top case (pizza box) left. neither drop was crazy hard but hard enough to ding em and cause me a minor heart attack😀.

Also, I'm not trying to start anything or commenting to bicker just thought I'd say they might be better than you think they are. That's all. ✌
