Hi
Has anyone replaced the battery with a lithium battery? Which brand did you get? How many AH are the battery? Does it working well?
I have seen that lithium batterys are smaller, was it a easy fit?
I'm asking cause i've been thinking of swtiching to a lithium on my PAS.

I installed an ATX12-HD AntiGravity battery several months ago. No issues so far.

I woud be carefull before installing one of them.
Cons:
Temperature sensitive, specially if they get hot.
If one cell goes bad, you may fire on your bike.

Do your research.
On the other hand, you may carry a engine start powerbank on the bike, much safer, and keet a tricle charger plug-in, everytime you're back home.

Harley should recall all the PAS and replace their batteries with normal but more powerful ones... most of the issues on PAS are due to the original battery not being powerful enough.

The bike, when not switching on properly, is firing a bunch of errors and, sometimes, starts in limp mode.

This is my humble opinion.

Engine start power bank no help unless you wire a direct battery connection. If you go through the battery charge external cable you just blow the fuse which is only rated for 15 amps whereas starting the engine draws about 100 amps…!
The standard fit OEM lead acid battery sucks!
I’ve ordered antigravity ATX-12 HD (heavy duty or Harley Davidson?!) lithium as I’ve had enough of the start and battery failures. Others say this is a good solution to the PAS start problems…

I just installed an 800 cranking amp, Rock and Restart from IFMOTOR. So far so good but i'll let you know after this ten day trip. I had the HD original replaced but decided to change it anyway.

Well I made about 2800 Km's the last ten days and parked my bike outside on cement / parking lots every night without using a tender once. The battery never missed a beat but it is only less than 2 weeks since I installed it. We shall see. The coldest it got was around 12 C +/- for x amount of hours during the night / morning in Northern Vietnam. Once we headed south then back across Laos and into Thailand the temperatures came up to +/- 20's.

While I don't have one in my Pan America, I do have one in my Kawasaki and tested how well it fires up in cold temperatures. Now granted, my Kawasaki is not a high compression engine and has always fired up very easily even with it's stock battery.

Thats a helpful demo.. what i'd love to see is how that works out long term. I hope you and others keep us posted.
That is my track day bike, doesn't get ridden as much as the Pan America. I have an OEM battery in the Pan America that is working just fine, but once it gives up I may put a AG battery in that as well.
