Who’s isi g what brand? HD one looks nice but does it only fit HD luggage.
Givi looks good too butyou then have the full range of Givi boxes.
primarily I just want it as a platform, but……

I roll the Touratech racks. They are as close to an industry standard as you can get. The tubing is 18mm OD. This seems to be the most accepted size for most of the major ADV luggage systems. Lonerider, mosko, SW Motech, etc.
I too was put off by the factory HD racks as they are too specific for their luggage. (both soft and rigid) I wanted to have choices down the road if and when I changed set-ups.
In the end, I roll Touratech racks and Lonerider semi-rigid panniers with a hard top case.
Hope this helps.

I have the Touratech rack as well. However you will have to "modify" it if you have the HD side racks installed. It's a simple "fix", simply cut/grind off the downward tabs at the attachment points, use longer bolts and add a spacer/washers.

On my first PAS I had the givi. They where okay and had a lot of space. But it was a mess to assemble them. Also the rack had contact to the exhaust, what I didn't like.

I checked out the wunderlich, but to take the left and right off you have to open the panier and unscrew it.
Not mine....

So I ended up with hepco and becker.
I like the cutout, easy to assemble locks robust and

To take the paniers of you need only the key. This key is for all locks.

I like my HB rack - I also have their panniers and use rack for duffel bag roll &/or spare gas (Rotopak)

What is the total outside width of the Hepco and Becker setup? They look real nice, I have been looking at Bumot but may consider these as well.
