Feeding the gas line back down was a real PITA for me after changing the filter.
after much cussing and fussing I put a zip tie on the line and fed the excess tie down. Then from the side I could pull it through the maze using the tie. Funny none of the videos show what a job it is to get the gas line back in. The beauty of video editing I guess. Chop out the bad parts. I recommend a brightly colored zip tie.

Possibly silly question about extreme flow air filter.
when oiling the filter should the oil be sprayed inside the filter? Since airflow is backwards…
I would say that to be true since it draws the air from snorkel tube inside the filter where 90% debris is captured and the debris that does make it in to airbox is due to poor Fitment of said tube , I sealed around mine with a silicone grease on the outer portion of the airbox where tube comes through....

No outside only. You want the engine to pull the oil into the filter.
Normally that is true but the PAS has a pretty lame air box design where you're actually passing air from the inside out of the filter.
However I spray mine on the outside anyway. Much easier to get even coverage and not completely saturate the filter where it starts making a mess.
Nothing worse than a filter dripping oil everywhere

It should be sprayed on outside, the oil will spread all over, let it sit for awhile until the excess runs out.
BTW, the Pan Am already comes with a washable hi-flow air filter, that doesn't require oiling.
