Great to see an active Pan American forum. Bought mine last November but unfortunately Michigan winters are not conducive to pleasurable riding. Been great getting it out in the warmer weather and in a week or two plan taking a trip through the Blue Ridge Parkway, Deals Gap and other environ on a loop tour back to Michigan. Look forward to reading and participating in this forum.

I also have a 09 XR besides the 21 PA. The only two bikes that Harley has made in the last 50 years that I wanted, besides the VR1000 of course.

I was drawn to the XR when it came out in 2008 but had 2 other bikes and couldn't rationalize getting a 3rd . . . or selling one of the others for that matter. However, the thought stuck w/me and in 2013 decided to act, particularly since I was down to 1 bike. I found this one on ebay w/1200 miles on it. Been a pleasure to own through the years for prowling the nearby country side.
