not sure on the life of the Anakee tires, but several of the more dirt worthy tires won't last the 6-10,000 miles to and from Alaska. The Dunlap Trailmax and the Motoz Adventure GPS both are expected to last around 10,000 miles if not more. A Youtuber channel of Kyle Bradshaw does thorough reviews of all the different tires, check it out. I will be riding 95% on road, but want the traction for the dirt, so I got both the Dunlap and Motoz tires I mentioned above, but haven't put them on the road yet.
The Dunlop's are just coming off backorder, Been waiting a few weeks for them to come in. Rear is showing up today and front supposedly in a couple days.
I ran Anakee 3 on my '03 Tiger. I was a 60mi/day commuter in all weather in south central PA...all paved roads Good for 20,000 miles on that bike; it weighed in a little less than the PAS.
