I have seen what you are talking about. It only did it twice for me. Both times, my fob was in my jacket pocket, inside my top box.. Like it was getting signal, then lost signal during the "POST". This happened last summer. I haven't had it happen again.

This could be the beginning of a "RCHM" issue. The service manual says to open and clean switches and check for debris. Then check the connectors. I think some Wd-40 followed by a blast of compressed air could only do good. But that's just me.
I would also make sure the fob is in range and has a new battery.
