I just got back from a two day trip in the catskills and i kept noticing that on every few starts it was slow to boot up. When you flip the switch to start, it would take a few seconds for the boot up screen and fuel pump to kick on. I started to notice the error light show on the dash for "B116609C", which is a Run Switch Fault. I couldnt clear the code but i would switch off the bike, then it would start normally and the code would disappear.
Clearly, this sounds like what the code says it is, but the problem is its so intermittent. I'm willing to bet any dealer i show this to, wont act until he sees the code. Has anyone dealt with this one?
