I have a Special and keep it on a battery tender. My voltage drops to 12.4 volts and the bike won’t start. I have the CHECK ENGINE light on and 3 diagnostic codes showing. Anyone else have similar issues?

NolD,
Since some time has passed, are you still having this issue? My guess is that clearing the fault codes might have resolved it? 12.4 is plenty voltage to crank the starter and spark the plugs, so I’m hoping for you that it was an electronic queertron that could be resolved by clearing the error codes.

I am having a similar issue. Check engine light came on with only 180 miles on the odometer while riding the bike on the highway. The bike went into limp mode (would not exceed 60mph). I looked in the diagnostics and it was throwing a few codes which I failed to record before bringing it to the dealer. I had the bike for a week so I just popped over to the dealer figuring they could take a quick look. Only had it in my possession for a week. The dealer couldn't take a look at it for two weeks. I traded in my 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700 with 7500 miles on it. Never had an issue with that bike. Figured I would give the American made adventure bike a chance. The Pan America was pretty cool for the first three rides. I find myself wishing I had just stuck to my Yamaha. At least it go.
