Hi, I have just installed the latest software on my Pan America. It was almost done with the installation when there was apparently a voltage drop. This resulted in my screen going black. The motorcycle can start but with a black screen. It asking for the usb, stick it in. And read. Then black again. View attachment 5921

Hummm..... 😕

Power interruption (or drop) during ANY software/firmware load (on ANY device, cell phone, computer, tablet) is bad news. It is recommended by the OEM that a battery maintainer/charger be connected to the bike during these updates. This will probably mean the display will need to be replaced. The screen you are showing isn't entirely negative, you could try re-loading, using a different USB, maybe the USB with the software on it is corrupted and the screen is just asking for the rest of it's update?

I hope I am wrong, but if it lost power during an update, I think the screen is "bricked". Sorry.
