I saw this storage tube on Amazon Amazon.com

Ordered it, but didn't like the tie wraps for mounting. So I changed the front Saddlebag bracket to a longer screw, then drilled and tapped the inside to mount the other end of tube.
Very stable, and lots of ro

om store chain servicing supplies.

Does it seem like the cap will stay on good?

I bought one of those same tubes, but ended up sending it back. I could not find a good spot that would not interfere with rear wheel suspension travel.. perhaps yours is a little smaller than the one I tried? Does it stick out enough that the rear tire could potentially rub it?

I put a straight edge on the side of the tire and get just over a 1/2 inch of clearance.
