Hello everyone, I am trying to see if I have any faults after I updated the software and when I go to the diagnostics page on the screen, I press the button to so the BCM, EHRC etc are shown, but after one minute a message pops up saying "No response to diagnostic test''. Anyone had any experience with that? I contacted the dealer who has know idea and he dropped an email to Harley requesting guidance. Still waiting. Thank you

Until your post I thought I was the only one seeing this.
Harley knows about it. I had reported this same issue when I had the recall infotainment software update. Harley is sending a tech to my dealership on Thursday to see if they can figure out what is going on.

You may also notice that button presses are missed when you are trying to scroll through the various menu options on the infotainment screen

Hi, make sure the fuse that the dealer used to update, is plugged in well. Mine wasn't and I had that problem. Now it seems OK, no problems.

Switching off: at high speeds or when you decelerate?

Hi Alberto, OK... the fuse that the dealership used for the update.

Also, try this. When you start the bike, make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is switched off. Then go to diagnostics. Let me know if you see the email, bcm etc. I believe you will see them. Wait for your feedback

No problem!
Hi,

the fuses under the seat look ok to me but maybe I should look somewhere else to?

About the diagnostics, still impossible to visualise the error or remove it from the list.

Thank you. Please try one more thing. Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and then connect again. If same problem continues, then I am afraid that I don't know what is going one. Harley dealership maybe can re update again the latest software. Let me know.

Thank you @PanAm21, I'll update the thread when I'll have news.

I am in touch with HD Cyprus, they keep investigating too.

Cheers,
Alberto

So As I said earlier in this thread my bike was at the dealer with the exact same issue waiting for a Harley Tech to come look at it. The tech spent most of the day going over the bike. Seems there were issues getting the digital tech to connect to the bike. Ultimately what seemed to cure the issues was replacing the battery and cleaning the leads. There was some corrosion on the battery leads and on a USB port connection I had installed. The battery may or may not have failed on the battery tester.

I was told Battery Voltage/Health is very critical on the Pan America. It was recommended to use a 1.25A battery tender or higher and that the 5A tender was preferred.

I have a 5Amp tender coming and time will tell.

There was a new BCM update out that was also installed on my during the troubleshooting process.

Hope this
