Is Tuesday 21st all day. Collect my Deadwood Green PAS with spokes and ARH from EDI Harley. Also upgraded to the heavy dooty skid plate as it seemed churlish not to. Fair to say I'm looking forward to it !

Trading my Yamaha Tracer GT which has been a great servant and an enjoyable ride. Hope the Harley is as good. Wish me luck. ✌

Will update next week. Ride safe yawl.

Thanks - dealer is 50 miles from home, but feel it will be more like north of 200 miles covered by the end of Tuesday. Need to get those new tyres scrubbed in, what ! (y)

Dirtglide, I don't think you will be disappointed at all. My 2019 Tracer 900GT still keeps her place in the garage next to the PA. While the FJ/GT's are great bike's and the CP9 is a great engine for sure The Yamaha was built to a price point and it kind of shows in the suspension and brakes and overall fit and finish in my opinion, The PA Special just blows it away, as it should for the price difference. The GT weights about 100lbs less and is down about 25HP at the rear wheel compared to the PA, but they seem pretty well matched bikes in my mind speed wise, one does curves better than the one that can go down a fire trail and not hole it oil sump. I have to say if I had to decide between the two the GT would be looking for a new home.

Collection occured. All went as planned. (y)

Straight home via the motorway to show the family. Sits on the cruise nice at 80 and eats up the miles.

Seats removed gives location of 12volt supply. These require a 5.5 x 2.1mm DC power male coupler. The ones I bought which terminate in female USB 2 are female - wrong! Will need male to male adapters to make it work.

Then a wee blat up to Ballater for a fsih supper.

Ballater. Passed Balmoral, Royal Protection Officers out with machine guns, gave them a cheery wave. 🤟

Also nice their paint deco matches the PAS, sweet!

Left Ballater at 7:10pm it was proper dark by the time I reached Braemar. Good test of the lights, they're effective, the cornering lights are really good, the braver you are, the more you lean the more light you are rewarded with in 3 steps.

Had fuelled up at Blairgowrie on the road up, took 15L. Total distance now covered 232 miles. Had a play about with all the settings and created a bespoke mode from one of the two available. Still a work in pregress, will share that another time. Been a long day and that hour and half ride in the dark on the gnarly A93 done me in. Great fun though, hope to be back out again tomorrow!

Hope you enjoy the photies. Dirtglide.

Today dawned a bit overcast, but crucially, the wind had dropped and who's afraid of a few drops of rain? Not me....

Bike keeps performing, still getting accustomed to it - I'm trying to find the goldilocks settings! It's in there somewhere! +200 mile tank range is great, best ever. 49mpg on last tank of E10 95Ron. Still to have the chance to fill with Super Unleaded.... 430 miles in since Tuesday. Speaks volumes, learning more about the bike every ride.

New one up!
