Don't know what the issue is, hoping someone may be able to shed some light in this. Around 6k-7k RPM the engine kills, then I need to pull over and turn off the bike for a few minutes to let the electronics reset, then it fires up. If I don't let them reset, it doesn't start. I brought the bike to Baton Rouge Harley, we swapped the battery for a new one, the old one read 13.2v, the new one is 14.0v solid. However on the ride home, cruising on the interstate at 71mph, the engine stopped and I had to pull over.

As an update, I dropped the bike off yesterday afternoon. The warranty covers a rental truck from enterprise, which is very nice. They were able to replicate the failure, which the tech wasn't able to get the bike started again, and was stuck on the side of the road. I'll provide any updates they give me in this thread, that way if anyone has these issues you'll at least know why it's happening.
