What helmet comms should we buy?
My son rides.
My Daughter rides.
Old lady on the back.
Everybody wants to talk to each other..
I am only mildly concerned about music quality, have zero interest in answering phone calls. I do not care about integrating to the PA controls. I think I have a grasp on that. I just want (primary want) to let the ole lady talk to me at interstate speeds while on the back and my kids talk to me if they are in sight range. (don't care about long range).
I bought a couple different "highly rated" Amazon specials but once I'm over about 40-50mph I can't hear them (wind noise, whoever is speaking crackles and gaps out). We all have either Shoei Neotech 2 helmets or Scorpion EXO 2 full face helmets. So they are comparatively quiet helmets.
Most everyone says Cardo Pactalk XXXXX, other say Sena XXXX.. (High dollar stuff) I've read reviews and watched videos by Fortnine and others. But I need some real world experience.. What do YOU use? How does it perform at speed? Do you wish you would have bought something else?
I am fine buying the top dollar stuff if it truly is 1000 times better. Opinions and actual experience talking to others at highway speeds would be appreciated.
