Has anyone experienced smelling fuel after turning on the bike. Not starting it but just turning the switch on. Also a strong smell after you turn the bike off.

I have not but the fuel vent tube end in the skid plate directly below the oil filter. it is visible if your looking for it. I would check to see if its venting any fuel. other visible fuel line connection is behind the cover that says 1250 between the jugs

I have had random fuel smells from the vent tube. I never figured it was a big deal. I think Cali models have a fume recovery setup (Evaporative Emissions) where the fumes are captured.

Thx for the info Fourseasons1621 and JJG419. got it into my dealer twice now and they finally found a small crack in the fuel line coming off the tank creating a mist when under pressure. All fixed !!
