When you buy a $45 shirt last night (at bike night) from a Tshirt company that sells motorcycles lmfao.
The shirt tag does say "Made in USA" of imported yarn. $45 for a screen printed tshirt is a bit much IMHO, but hey I bought it lol.I know we always laugh at the price of Harley clothing. Even here in Wisconsin, it is no cheaper than anywhere else. I know we had a heated discussion a few years back in my riding club about Harley being 'American Made'. The truth, for those that may not know, not all of the parts on your American Made Harley are actually made in America. Forks, shocks, throttle bodies, CPUs, etc are just a few of the items that are outsourced components. Blah, blah, blah........
Motor company clothing is no exception. While most of the riding gear is built for Harley by other manufacturers, it is generally of really good quality and priced accordingly. Imagine how many people would be put to work in this country if the Motor Company simply did not change the price of the garments, but had them made and printed her in America. Yeah, I get it, the profit margin may go down a bit, but............seems like a good way to invest in the future economy.
Just saying.
LMFAO, naw ... my 2nd green shirt for St Paddy's Day! First one I had on was Team RWB's last night at bike night. But wait - it's not orange?! 😆
For shirts similar to this one, the local H-D dealer is on the back. I agree though, great idea! Not that I profess to be some sort of marketing guru...........
But, here is an idea for someone to capitalize on.
Harley Pan America logo on each of the color shirts that correspond with each of the colors offered on the bikes.
Orange, yellow, blue, green, gray (My fav), Military Denim, etc.
I'm sure someone can figure that out.
