I have been riding Road Glides for years but after talking to a couple of friends that had purchased the Pan America, I got the bug and on May 3rd (2022) I made the purchase of the 2022 Special and have not regretted it one second! Such a blast to ride and the differences to the Road Glide are too many to list, but I will say the lighter weight and greater horsepower certainly makes it more nimble to avoid objects and careless drivers. I lost partial use of my right leg due to striking a car that turned in front of our group (also resulting in the death of a friend) but some modifications to the rear brake pedal has really helped. I do wish though that for a twenty-something- thousand-dollar Harley Davidson they could have mounted a horn that didn't sound like the "Road Runner". And, after having such a good GPS and charging ports on the Road Glide, those items are also missed. Besides that, this motorcycle is such a blast to ride! As of yet I have not had the opportunity for much off-roading, except in my pasture, but hopefully that will change soon. Now that I am retired, I plan to put many miles on this creature.

Welcome to the forum from VA. Enjoy the bike. I too had a Road Glide that I traded for the PAS. It didn't have it long but I do enjoy the PAS much more. It is much better suited to my riding.

Good morning, the last time I rode the glide I it felt like I was driving a living room couch down the road! I was already spoiled by the PAS, so I eventually sold the Glide, hopefully I won't regret it later. It has been a good bike to ride to Thunder Beach in Panama City, and hopefully the PAS will be also.
