matt thanks for that, I should have clarified that I have the S model with Auto preload but no ARH. My rear suspension never changes preload even with a passenger. Is there any info on resetting or testing the rear automatic preload?

I hear ya. Unfortunately I think that’s all there is for suspension. But check out the table of contents and lemme know if there is another section you wanna see. Maybe I missed it 🤙🏼

Mine wasn’t selling it. I don’t think Harley encourages off-site maintenance 😅

Hi Patkin,
Check out pages 50 and 51 in the Owners manual that should have come with the bike. It explains the difference between Enhanced Semi Active suspension (i.e. with ARH) which does it all for you, and Semi Active Suspension (without ARH) which needs a bit of rider input through the Settings menu. Hope this helps.

They must have just received a shipment from the printer. I ordered one when I picked my PAS up in early January and the dealer just called yesterday and said it was in.

Check out pages 50 and 51 in the Owners manual that should have come with the bike. Just noticed this, believe you me, I know all about the settings. For preload you have a choice of Auto - Solo - Rider with passenger, etc. Nothing changed my preload, there is a new rear shock on order for it.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like teaching to suck eggs, but there are many out there that don't read the instructions and then wonder why it doesn't work lol. Let's hope the new shock cures the problem. Keep it shiny side up😊

I came to an agreement with dealer to replace th3 bike after it was more that 3 months in the workshop. I’m getting a PAS with ARH and cast wheels. The spokes are a disaster, no way are they SS.

Can’t fault the response of the dealer, worth its weight in gold. Going to France end of this month.

Can you post about replacing the risers and handlebar adjustment.

Also if you go to your local FedEx office. Have them bind your manual. Only about 8 to 10 bucks.

Hi! Thanks for sharing service manual info. I bought the auxiliary lighting and am dismayed to learn that installation requires fuel tank removal including removal/destruction/replacement of fuel breather line clamps. I’m trying to find out part number of the parts I need to replace. Shame Harley doesn’t provide ALL parts needed in fitting kit (or perhaps they do and I haven’t identified the parts I need)…?! Service Manual guidance on tank removal and replacement would be much appreciated please.
