I am planning a bigger tour to the north of Europe this year. This actually mostly on paved roads. I have the original Michelin tires on. Can someone tell me how many kilometers/miles I can drive with these tires? From how many kilometers / miles must be expected with a tire change?

Lock at k&m Harley world in Wangen im Allgäu Germany. Their Biker Biker Jo is on a big trip.. He is riding a lot and want to ride on the PAS 100000km in one year. He also has a lot of experience. In autum he went from Bodensee to Marokko and back.

I have 14,000 miles on mine, the rear is ready to replace while the front has many miles remaining.

I got 3,000 miles out of my back tire 🤣🤣 had a little too much fun when I first got it. Too many wheelies 🤦🏻‍♂️

That is the Point.
Easy going Highway with speedlimiter , Rain Modus .... = big milage.
It is okay.
My Favorit is this
The fun riding once , up and down the passes in Sport modus, full throttle the German Highway max Speed. And other tire eating behavior.
An other important Faktor is the tire. Is it hard or soft.
With so many Parameter the milage out of the tire can only be estimated.
To all don't matter how and what you rinding, ride save.

I do not see how it's possible to get 14k mi on those tires. how did you do it?

In my opinion the pas is, regarding the tires, different to the BT and so.
the pas has a lot of more power, clearance to the street, agility speed in a turn... Therefore the pas need a tire with a little ( a lot)
more grip. This kind of tires can't make so much milage as a hard tire . but for me and my way to ride it is important that the tire has grip when I need it, not on the long straight Autobahn. 220km/h
I made on my first set of tires 10.000km (6.300 mls) and I am pleased with it.

I’m going to try these for my next set … considered 90/10 rather than factory 80/20, should still be able to run hard packed dirt and gravel.

I never liked the Anakee 3… they were OEM rubber on both of my GSs. OK when new, but never instilled the cornering confidence that I pay for.

The Continental TKC70 may be my next set, as I can’t get more than 5k out of the excellent Anakee Adventures…
