Looking to purchase a MC lift soon, who has one and what do you recommend please?

I've looked at the Harbor Freight one, and don't like the fact ya have to buy a better front wheel clamp for it.

A friend recommended a Procycle (he has one). I have an air compressor so that's not an issue.

Been looking towards the Kendon Folding Stand-Up™ Motorcycle Lifts,

Folds up, air and hydraulic pump up (for when ya don't have air). $1295 shipped (from CA) or $1195 shipped for the tad smaller one. If you sign up for their emails AND texts, 7% off coupon (almost covers my FL tax lol).

Thoughts?

A tech brought me in shop to show me something on a PA he was working on, they have a flat plate with matched holes to skid plate holes to mount it. I asked if I can buy one he said no , so I asked him if he would sell me that one , he said he!! no

Jesse, I owned a handy lift for many years. Air operated, side extensions for ATV or lawn tractor use, great tie down locations......blah, blah, blah.
While I did not use a lift often, it was great to have. The worst part was the amount of space it took up. I paid slightly more than the one you are looking at about 8 years ago and only wish they had come out with something like this back then.
Take an assesment of just how many times a year you plan to use it. When its not in use, where would you want to store it. If space is not any issue for you, I'd go with the Handy lift and the options to use it for ATV, Snowmobile, lawn tractor, small Italian Fiat.......
Now you got me thinking........Stay Tuned.

Thanks, I'll check into that one as well. I have a second MC (2004 Triumph Tiger 955) and a zero turn mower--I would use a lift for sure. My knees are tired of being on the floor lol.

I like this fold up version, takes up a lot less room!

What did they use to raise the PA up with the flat plate?

Handy makes great quality lifts and I'm waiting on one to be delivered to me (Air 1200). I had a Titan lift that worked great for years, but the hydraulics went and I could not get parts for it (Chinese Hydraulics).
I picked a Handy because I wanted a 100% made in USA lift and most commercial shops I have been in had Handy lifts and I wanted a full table under the bike. Best price I could find on the Handy was buying directly from Handy. What ever you choose make sure replacement parts are available and the hydraulics can rebuilt.

I read the reviews on the Harbor Freight website, suggestion was to get the better clamp (many stated that one should have been on it from the get go). You have to drill the mounting holes for it too lol.

Looks interesting! I watched all three videos, none showed the bike being placed onto the lift. That might be an issue, since you would probably need to ride up onto it and it's 6"-8" off the ground.

The 3rd video at bottom showed them putting it on the stand, it has a ramp.

This guy's review also showed him pushing it up the ramp onto the stand:

I’ve had a Handy lift for several years with zero issues. The only regret was I should have bought it long before I did. Working on the ground is so pedestrian. 😂

+1 on the Handy Lift Table. I picked one up used a while back and it's excellent. This is a commercial-grade lift and there is really no comparison between these lifts and the consumer-grade ones you find a Harbor Freight and other similar outlets.

If you are just doing "casual" work now and then, that's a good case for a lower-cost HF or similar unit. If you want something that will perform well now and for years into the future, then shop around for a high-quality unit.

I have the Harbor Freight lift. I took the front wheel clamp off. Don't even use it. I recently added a piece of wood to the stop at the end of the lift, just in case. Pull the bike on, throw it on the center stand and strap it down. This lets me turn the handlebars while doing service. I can also lift the front wheel by moving straps to the back foot peg mounts. I've even backed the bike on it once. No issues. I have one of those swingarm stands I use when I put a bike on the lift that doesn't have a center stand. I ended up getting the lift for 350.00 after coupons and a sale.. I ride more than I wrench so I didn't want to put a lot of bucks on it. It's safe and does the job fine.

Do believe I have the same lift, it came with the road king I bought. And yes it has served it's purpose for me as it has for you... Wow on price, I remember pricing it after I got it and thought they were 169$. Thats been several years ago.
