The sales manager at my Harley shop sent me this picture today. My 2022 PAs has arrived! I’ve got lots of stuff to install already in my garage as well as more arriving from Touratech tomorrow and more at the shop waiting for pickup. My 2011 BMW R1200GS has performed very well in a few Iron Butt Rallies, on 3 BDR routes and lots of trips to Moab and the San Rafael Swell. But it now has over 130,000 miles and I’ve decided to get a fresh ADV bike. I demoed a PAs both on and off road. I preferred the new 1250GS on the road, but the Pan America worked much better off road for me. The conventional forks give me much better feedback on rough terrain and in soft dirt/sand. I’ll post more as I get it built the way I want.

Welcome. Got the same color. Had a hell of a time getting spoked wheels on a 2022. Anyone else get fed some line of crap on availability of spoked wheels?
I was told over and over again that spoke wheels were not going to be available in 2022 by a few of the area dealers. When I placed my order with the local dealer the salesman was surprised to see it listed as an option and clicked on the option tab saying the bike will probably arrive with Mag wheels. My bike arrived exactly as I ordered it in blue and white with spoked wheels.

I ordered the 22 back in September of 21. I told the dealer that I had to have spoke wheels. In January as production began he informed me they were all being shipped with mag wheels. My response was simple. “Spoke wheels or you can cancel the order. I don’t care if you steal them off a left over 21.”
It showed up with spokes March 1st.
as for color, I was hating the orange in 21 and the blue in 22. Both colors grew on me over time. I initially wanted the Deadwood Green, but not available in 22. Gray was my second choice. Now that it’s here, I guess the color would not have mattered to me. I see so many different ones both here and on the street. They all look cool.
I am surprised how many die hard Harley riders don’t even know that the PA exists. Are they living under a rock? Stuck in a time warp? I could care less what anyone else thinks about it. I love it and I enjoy it.

I ordered the bike on February 26. It arrived March 25. The laced/cast wheels were a deal breaker for me. I will be using this bike off road a lot and the cast rims are a no go. The sales manager was a but surprised that it arrived this quickly. He said they got a total of 6 of them. 3 for each of the shops they operate. If you look just beyond my gray PAs in the picture, you can see a black one. I don’t know what wheels came on the other bikes. I live in the Rocky Mountain foothills just a little southwest of Denver CO. Most of the shops here are telling people the same thing about the wheels…can’t get them, it’s unpredictable, they order a bike with laced but it ships with cast, etc…. Most of the shops here also price bikes over MSRP. This one doesn’t.
I haven’t picked the bike up yet. I have some important work stuff to finish and I don’t want the bike in my garage calling to me. I’ll be there when they open on Wednesday. :)
