So just picked up my PAS 2022 and I know from multiple forums that the app/navigation has issues. Mine connects no problem and the turn by turn works however the map on the TFT keeps rotating in different directions. It can't lock in the same direction as the arrow. Basically you have to ignore the map and just keep an eye on the turn notices.

Is this a common problem and does anyone have a solution apart from using my phone or GPS unit directly?

I can't answer your question, but in my opinion, the so called navigation feature (phone + Harley app + bike screen) is a joke. I would just assume use my iPhone and Car Play but that is not an option. Other than this, there is so much to love about my Pan America.

I've been playing with this. I have an iPhone 13 Max Pro. First, start the bike. Once the bike is running and past the startup screen, open the Harley app on your phone. I trust you already paired the two.

I've noticed the arrow freaking out when I put my phone into dark screen / screen sleep mode with the app running in the foreground. If I leave the app open, the phone plugged into the power outlet to keep the phone battery charged, it works the best. Don't have the phone vertical in a pocket. I have a Quad Lock on my handle bars. I found having the phone in a pocked screws with the accelerometer in the phone and it sends out goofy into to the bikes system. I've had good luck running the Harley app on my phone in the background then letting the phone screen go to sleep on its own. For whatever reason if I do this I don't get the whacky spinning bike indicator on the map.
