Hold on to at least one of the old bikes. I had a 72 Sportster that I traded in for my Pan Am and I miss it all the time. The Pan Am is so fantastic for many things, but it's not a brilliant bike for hopping around town.

I live in North Idaho and my Pan is the perfect bike for mountain twisties and forest gravel roads. No more baggers or bobbers for this kid
