Hey everyone! When I heard that Harley Davidson was coming out with the Pan America I wasn't sure what to expect but after watching a couple of reviews I like what I'm seeing.

The fact that I'm seeing that it can hold its own against the likes of Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda makes me really keen on seeing for myself what it's like.

Personally having previously owned two 1200cc GSes and a CrossTourer I feel this is up to their standards and better in some ways. The CrossTourer which had DCT was a great bike but far too heavy for me. Once I had got over the novelty of not having a clutch lever it was very tiresome when it came to manoeuvring the bike at slow speeds.
I loved both of the GSes I owned. Particularly the Boxer engine and I was going to step up to the 1250cc until I rode the PA. Whilst its great to have the extra power the PA puts out given I am not a fast rider it wasn't a decision maker for me. What was was the new technology the PA has , something its competitors will now have to address , and its price.
I am convinced that HD have deliberately priced this bike low to attract riders of other Adventure bikes and by attracting a new type of rider to its brand it could help to secure the future they have as a company.
