Has anyone installed the Screaming Eagle Quickshifter on their 2022? I can't figure out where to plug the wire harness into. The instructions just say plug into the engine harness with a very small vague picture. I've searched and searched for the connector!

there was no need to take to dealer for some sort of reflash or something? i thought i read in the instructions that you had to flash the computer after installation…..if that is a lie, i will be ordering one and installing myself!! :D

I just purchased a 2022 Pan America Special and asked the HD dealer about adding a HD quick shifter....was told they are not yet available. Is that true? I have a quick shifter on my 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 and would like one on my new HD Pan Am....

You do have to go to the dealer and have them turn on the quickshifter. Basically a 5 minute re-flash.

The Screaming Eagle Quickshifter is available. Our dealer had one in stock when I bought it.

My dealership wanted an hours labor for full install, 1/2 hr for flash only if customer installs.

Found out it IS also a clutchless downshifter, which seems to SLIGHTLY blip sometimes, almost imperceptibly. Still needs to roll off throttle though (for downshifting only)

Seems to be happiest upshifting from second gear and up, with each higher gear getting smoother. Also best shifting at or above 4,500 rpm, meaning spirited acceleration. Manual clutch is much less clunky during sedate progression through the gears.

You might notice your sole snagging the mechanism while transitioning your toe under the lever for up shifting if your boot has a prominent welt.

I need your help, I have a PAS 2022 and I ordered a Screaming Eagle Quickshifter by mail, but where I live there is no dealer HD for flashing the motorcycle system, the nearest dealer is 450 miles from here, do you know if there is any way to activate without having to take the bike to the dealer?

Guys, do you really like it? How do you drive? I'm using it now for like 25000 miles. I think it regularly tries to kill my gearbox. Shifts to hell, shifts to neutral, shifts to anywhere possible. Sometimes even gives throttle when shifting down. Actually I want my money back, it's useless.
Wouldn't recommend anyone to invest money on this one. Safe it for some beers

The quick shifter came standard on my 24 CVO. Mine works without any issues. I don't always use it, though. Not because I don't like it, but just due to force of habit. I do find, though, that when I use it, it seems to work as advertised.
very happy to hear.
For me there is one use case it works great as well, under RPM 2-3000, low throttle 20-30% shifting like 2-3-4, that okay.
But I'm driving many mountain passes here around central europe. above 6000 near the max HP / NM where the QUICKshifter should do it's job it's getting a mess on mine.

Strange. Mine behaves the exact opposite. High RPM in sport mode, on mountain roads, riding hard, the quickshifter works great, up and down shifts. Low RPM cruising, it does not work well at all. However, I'm fine with that, why would I need a "quick shift" at anything slower than 4000 RPM?? That's cruising/slow speed operation; not sure why anyone would need a high performace shift in this scenario.

Thanks for all your replies and feedback. I'm not sure if the CVO quickshifter is better or probably just your bikes. If you wanna have a look on my bike and / or trips would be happy to see some of you check: Mike on Tour. Motorradreisen, Abenteuer + Reviews
my youtube channel, primarily in German but most videos are AI translated to English or sometimes there's a complete series in English:
Cheers, Mike!
