Anyone using the SPOT devices?
I ride solo back country a lot, and im thinking about it.

I use a Spot Gen X. I have a handlebar mount but usually have it on me in case I get separated from the bike.

I use a SPOT for the remote areas I ride without cell coverage and also while out hunting. It works okay, I find I need glasses to read it and you cannpot adjust the font sizes on the screen

I have a Garmin that has satellite connectivity since I do a lot of hiking and camping in the mountains with no cell service. I keep it with me when I'm riding back country on the PAS too. The Spot products are great too but the Garmin has modes like expedition mode where the battery can last up to 10 days without charging

Thats my main concern, riding solo. For the price, I think its a great insurance policy!
