I put 140 miles on my PAS this morning (300 total) and the wind buffeting noise was horrible! I'm 6'1" with the tall seat on the low setting. I also had to lean forward more than was comfortable on a long ride. So I stopped at the shop and bought the HD 22" windscreen and the bar risers. Much better! No distortion on top of the windscreen like the original either.

Seems to have been lots of critique with the original screen. Did you consider any non HD brands for deciding on that one? Seems to be increasingly more goodies on the market.

I looked at a few online, but when I stopped by the dealer they had the taller one in stock.

interesting. I just called three different HD dealers and looked online. As far as HD says, there is not a 22" windscreen. The largest HD has is the Adventure 18".

My mistake, you are correct. The stock was 16.5, and the new one 18. I just went and measured them. I had been looking at a 22" online and was confused 🤷‍♂️

22" are hard to find! I wonder how well the aftermarket 22"s hold up - I figured once they get so long they stop holding shape at highway wind speeds. I do need a taller one. I am 5'10" and think the 18" should help with wind hitting my helmet.

When I put this 18 on I had it in the 3rd upright position and at 75 mph it moved a fair amount. I moved it to the top position where it lays back a bit and it smoothed right out. And no wind buffeting up to 85 mph.

CalSci will make you a 22". I have their 20" and it works great, Road King level wind protection. I had planned on getting a PUIG or other adventure style shield when available in the aftermarket but have not been impressed with the looks of them so far. I'll stick with the CalSci for now.

I received two 17" dark grey tinted 7Jurock custom windshields for Christmas. At 5 10 , on the lowest position, top of shield is close to being even with my nose. Perfect..
Obviously, I don't need two windshields. I'm selling one, brand new for $100 including shipping.

Wonder why they took them down. Do you have a pic of one on yours? I am worried the tint is too dark to see through, especially in the evening/night.

yes, i still have it. I did about 5 hours of night riding and the tint is not too dark that it obstructs your view.

I replaced the original screen with a Harley 18.5 inch screen, however it still obscures your view towards the top! Wish I had bought a taller Guvi one now or one of the other larger ones available! On the up side just had my first service and the software update included an update for the ‘Hold/Hill start ‘ to ‘22 spec so it only releases when you pull away not on for only 15 seconds or so…
