Just picked up today and no, not installed, yet. think I saw/read that there's some concerns with bag blocking the display. So put bag on tank (yes I know pics suck but best I got now) and held cam right at my face and tried to give best look. I don't think it's gonna be an issue maybe the very bottom 1/8" of screen. Bag might lower a tad once installed AND I will take better pics, take a ride to get a better idea and update.

UPS just dropped off mine today, so far it looks good. I like how it sit's well clear of the tank (at least when empty) and how it attaches, although I have not mounted it yet. My only concern is how it will hold up, I didn't have very good luck with the HD tank bag I bought for my XR1200. The clear window at the top started yellowing the first time it saw sun, the foam at the bottom of the bag that sits on the tank turned hard in no time. Come to think of it the tank bag I got for my Buell 1125R wasn't much better and neither bags were left out in the sun. I just hope they didn't pick the same supplier in China to make it. Also it kind of amazed me that I can't find it on Ali Express for less than half the cost.

Wow! That would suck spending that kind of money on item that doesn't last. I agree, looks like it will sit well and to me it appears to be built well with decent storage. I figured I'd try HD instead of waiting on other companies to bring some to market. My only other one is a kuryakyn on my 07 RK that a buddy gave me since he didn't need anymore, no clue how long or much he used. I've had it couple years now and it served it's purpose and clear vinyl (whatever) is still clear. Let's hope china made these bags to last longer than your previous experiences.😁

I was really hoping SW-Motech would have been the one that made it for HD. I wonder if they will come out with their own version of it. I'm not buying any other luggage for the bike until the aftermarket comes up with their offerings. I would like to find a set of soft bags that has the mounts that can be quickly removed from the bike. SW-Motech makes a set like this for the BMW GS750, I saw them last weekend and they looked good.

UPDATE
Installed bag not at all difficult but the two front strap screw holes I had issus getting screws started. I looked at holes and both drill holes had "plastic" burrs in them left by drill. Used small screwdriver and knife got burr out and rest was easy pesy. ALSO took little ride and the bag does NOT interfer/block the display, at least mine doesn't, oh I'm 5'9". Hopefully the bag is better quality than what roadrash83 has had with HD bags.

I put my bag on today, it doesn't look bad. I'm going to keep the zippers lightly lubed with silicon and not leave it on the bike when it's not needed. If my memory is correct that is the same zipper design the was on my HD XR1200 bags. I would also like to find a tank ring that fits and does not interfere with this bag for times when I want a small quick disconnect bag.

I bought one and installed it yesterday. Love how the bottom of bag is contoured to fit over the gas tank and down the tank plate. Bag does not hit the painted part of tank. Also view of instrument panel is not obstructed..
one report that I read, commented on the bag obstructing the view, not true. Lot of times first reviews are done by people looking at a picture versus actual hands on experience.

Looks like its going to be a reality. Madstad windshield system with display riser coming soon.
Hi there - did you get the Madstad display riser? I am curious about how it mounts and if there is any need to extend cables? Have got the handlebar 2 inch risers on my Pan America so I can stand more comfortably but on the downside I can not see the fuel gauge when I sit down... which has caught me a few times. I found the display riser at J&P Cycle and they (stil?) ship to Sweden... I hope. Any other suggestion?

The riser system only fits if you already have the Madstad windshield, i just ordered mine today, it raises the display 2 inches and it comes with an extension cable.
