The NTSB has issued a recall Recalls | NHTSA for the passenger grab rails. The recall says seat pan but it's for the grab rails that are made out of plastic that break when they are used to lift the bike on the center stand.
Gee, I wonder how I’ll make out on this. My local dealer sucks so bad, that when mine broke, (TWICE, the threaded inserts pulled out) that I just glued them in to keep the parts from falling off.
Based on my dealer experience so far, I expect I’ll be told I voided the warranty.
Hopefully they will accept that a Recall is different from a warranty issue.

I haven't notice the passenger rails being weak, my problem is the crappy bronze fittings in the base keep popping out. I have been tempted to go to the Hardware store to buy taps and upgrade those fitting with something that actually created thread. Obviously this would be a modification and stock applications may not work after that so I haven't pulled the trigger. I'll see what solution HD come up with, if it is a completed handrail replacement but nothing to fix those fittings in the base, the Recall will be worthless.
