Caveat: Not a permanent solution for additional lighting. These lights are rechargeable, and can last up to 35 hours on low settings. They can be mounted to almost any tube, within the stretch of the mounting straps. I don't know how well they will hold up on road, or off road riding. That's yet to be tested. However, if you're out and about late in the evening or in the dark, and need a flashlight to view a map, or light something of interest, they can easily be removed and used as a flashlight(s). If you get stranded at night out in the back 40, you can detach them and use them for signaling. Red lights have flashing capabilities. They do have to be turned on and off manually. Again, not a permanent solution for additional lighting, this is just an idea for thought and possible uses.
