Was cleaning the bike and working on some soft bag mounts, when I found the heat shield bracket was broken.... Just under 4500 km on it...

Nah, I just cleaned up the surfaces and welded it back together. It took me longer to set up and then out away the welder than it did to fix it....🧑‍🏭👌

I had mine replaced at the dealer. They said they wouldn't weld it but would order me a new one. The part has been redesigned.

I will check on my pipe for cracks. So i can tell my Dealer when i am at 8000km Service.

I checked it...... It has alsow a crack.
It seems to be a systematic fault.
Next week I have a Service so i Tell my Dealer to fix it.
